If I get turned on by some women, am I a lesbian?Dear Sex Doc, I get turned on when I see two women together in a movie. Am I a lesbian? Find Women Hot Dear Find Woman Hot, It is perfectly normal for a woman (whether straight, lesbian, or bisexual) to get turned on by watching women in pornography. In fact, many women report that they get aroused by seeing women being sexual with one another. Just because it turns you on, does not mean that you are a lesbian. You can get turned on by the same sex, but still be heterosexual. It is important for people to understand that sexuality (including sexual orientation) is fluid. Alfred Kinsey, the famous American sex researcher, created ‘The Kinsey Scale.’ This scale of sexual orientation measured an individual’s orientation based on their behaviour and fantasy. The scale went from 0 (completely heterosexual) to 6 (completely homosexual). People could describe their sexual orientation anywhere on this 7-point scale. Kinsey believed that most people where not 0’s or 6’s, but somewhere in between. Since you find women attractive and get sexually aroused by them, you are probably not a 0, but rather a 1 or a 2. And, I wouldn’t worry about labelling yourself as straight, bisexual, or lesbian (at least for now). If you are unsure about your orientation you will most likely figure it out in the future.
